I bought this product through the Amazon Warehouse, which means (1) I probably got one that someone else bought, didn't like, and returned, and (2) it was much cheaper than the regular 'new' price.That said, when the towel stand arrived it looked fine and assembled with no problems, although I had to look on the box (which I'd almost already thrown away) to find the assembly instructions. My only quibble with it is the base didn't sit completely flat on a surface I know to be flat, but a small sliver of cardboard fixed that issue.
It looks quite nice and is an attractive addition to our bathroom which, despite being rather nice, was designed without a single towel rack ANYWHERE near the shower. I've hung it with two sets of towels, and it will even hold a very large bath-sheet sized towel, provided you fold it lengthwise in thirds.

We bought this floor-standing towel rack to replace an older one that was falling apart. This rack is solid, easily assembled, adequately weighted to hang heavy towels, and attractive. Good design.
