I like the wooden seat, but wish they had made the vinyl legs wood toned to match. To me the bright white legs are not harmonious with the good looking wooden seat.

It is comfortable enough and doesn't take up much room. The front leg has an adjustable tip which is good since the shower slopes down to the drain a bit.

I recommend wiping off the top each time after showering to remove beads of water, though it seems to shed the water pretty well. Be careful when putting your foot up on it (like for shaving your legs), as it can tip.

AVOID THIS PRODUCT AT ALL COSTS -it is a good looking, extremely shoddy piece of merchandise. The wood does not "age gracefully", it cracks and the finish falls off. The joints are not securely glued and water causes the seat construction to separate into individual planks. In other words, it falls apart. I've used mine just a few days. It began falling apart after the first shower. It's disgusting.

I purchased this bench for my 63 year old mother who wanted a "teak" shower bench. She is in another state and had to assemble the bench unassisted. She told me she was able to put it together in about 10 minutes without any tools!!! She uses the handles on the side for her washcloth. The legs are adjustable. This was an added feature as she is only 5'0" tall. One drawback....I must now order one for her sister my auntie who wants one as well ! (smile)....

I searched for a shower stool for my mother that was something other than chrome as her shower has oil rubbed bronze fixtures. This was the only one I could find and it was not rated so I was a little reluctant. I received the item very quickly was so pleased by the quality of the item, as well as its appearance. It is a very, very nice looking stool that is sturdy. While the color is not a true oil rubbed bronze (note that nothing said it was -this is just my comment) the colors looks very good in the shower. For my mom, who is 5'10", it adjusted to an appropriate height (the highest one). She is very happy with the stool and loves to show it off to her friends as it is so nice looking too.

I ordered this stool to replace an older one that was getting rusty on the legs. It is a little bigger than the old one but very attractive. The rounded shape doesn't fit as well in the corner. The legs are easily adjusted but would have liked the holes to have been closer together. The leg in front can't be adjusted to the right height to avoid wobbling since the shower floor slopes down to the drain. Not a big problem but would be nice if there was no wobble. Definitely a quality made product.
