Umbra Orvino Bath Collection Soap Pump

I have owned the black version of this soap pump for about 4 months now and I'm replacing it.

1) it leaks soap -so you get soap drips all over your counter

2) the reservoir finish is extremely hard to keep clean (it looks nice IF you can keep it clean)

3) it is only a moderately effective pump

I bought this to replace a "stainless" steel dispenser I'd been using for dish soap in my kitchen. Over time the steel had rusted and gotten super-funky, so I wanted a new dispenser that wouldn't have this issue -this Umbra fit the bill perfectly. The melamine is a plastic-type material so it's easy to clean and won't rust (the chrome-finish pump is also actually made of plastic), and the wide bottom gives it a sturdy base. My kitchen is also done in reds, so this color looks great with my other kitchen stuff. Great buy.

This pump is great, and functions exactly as it should. It's a hand soap pump, meant to be used by sinks (not in showers with shower gel, as the other reviewer discussed), and does just that perfectly well. It's pretty and well-made. I have been happy with it since purchasing a few months ago.

I bought this soap pump to replace a ceramic one very similar by Umbra that got BROKEN at my kitchen sink. This one is NOT ceramic so I'm hoping it will last much longer and much more secure around kids! So far, so good. It is a beautiful, vibrant red color that matches my kitchen perfect!

Very nice pump. Looks great in the kitchen. Compliments my new red rubbermaid dish rack. The material that it is made from will not crack or break if it falls on my granite countertops. That is a plus for me.
