This is exactly what I was looking for. It is very discreet, easy to install and it works. I applied the 2 Everloc Suction Cups on my front mirror in my bathroom. Again, it is very discreet and the suction cups have a very sticky sticker that you first have to peel-off. Make sure that you first decide on where to put it. Of course, you can remove it and re-apply somewhere else over and over again. However, I have no experience with that since I have not had to remove it.Once this is done, you have to twist the locking mechanism that is located on top by turning with your fingers clockwise until it is very tight. For the next few days, you may have to twist once in a while the locking mechanism to be certain it is tight. All in all, the initial process takes less than 10 minutes to install with no mess what-so-ever and it feels very tight for my Conair 1875 blow dryer. I have no fear that it will fall off.
Note: It has at the bottom an area for storing the end of your power cord. Not exactly perfect, but it works depending on your hair dryer. It has a 4.5 inches opening for your hair dryer. It wouldn't recommend it if you have a tiny or a traveler's hair dryer because it might be too tiny to fit. I guess it would be more suited for normal to maybe bigger hair dryers.
It says per the manual that you can apply it to non-porous surfaces like glass, tile, fiberglass, steel, Formica, manufactured stone, plastic, sealed wood, enamel painted surfaces, and many others including non-porous textured surfaces.
My personal experience was applying it to glass only. All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase.
