Shower 525 Five-Function Volume Control Hand Shower Finish: Tumbled Bronze

I bought three of these items. One has a defective shower mount out of the box and started squirking water through a pin sized hole between the ball and the mount socket. Danze will take 2 weeks to replace for free. The all metal hose is very nice and sturdy, but the shower mount bracket is made of PLASTIC. I am not sure why everything is metal except the shower mount. I suspect that over time, the oil bronzed finish on the plastic will rub right off. The handheld showerhead has a nice finish to it, and it is light rustic brownish copper finish. The problem here is it scratches too easily. I had the shower head hang while I was adjusting the mount. While do so, the head slightly moved and rubbed against my bathtub. Sure enough, when I picked it up, it was scratched up and noticeable. Poor quality finish. You get what you paid for. The spray is nice and powerful.

The description on Amazon could have been a bit clearer, but this is a well built shower head, mostly made of metal. I wish the materials used were more clearly described on all products, but I suspect some people would balk at "cheap flimsy plastic." In this case, my concerns were unfounded. The hose appears to be made of metal and does not have the cheap plastic feel.The handset has a nice sold feel to it with some heft.

Only one reason it does not have 5 stars we would like a little more pressure. Beautiful with long very flexible hose and easy 4 minute install.
