The problem for me was not just sitting down, it was having to lean down on the seat which made the seat pop off one of its tabs of fingers in the back depending which side you enter the commode. Very scary !! The same problem happened when trying to "Wipe the rear". Other than that the padding is comfortable. The back is not padded but ok. I used it twice, thats all I was the chances of a fall I was willing to take.Save 29% Off
