I bought this to go in a very small bathroom we're remodeling with talavera tiles. I was looking for something sturdy, functional and vaguely Mexican in style, and this fit the bill just right. The space is so small that we were worried about the medicine cabinet door swinging open and hitting the sconces on either side, but the door only opens about 90 degrees, so if that's a concern for you, you'll be ok.

I would give this cabinet a FIVE star rating, but I'm going include my husband's perspective to keep it balanced. The mirror is well built and sturdy. It was easy to install; there were no missing parts and installation instructions were clear. The cabinet is functional and looks great in our bathroom. The inside of the door and behind the cabinets is mirrored, which was unexpected. However, it turned out to be a feature that makes the cabinet more functional; especially if sharing the space with our teen daughter. The only issue is really one based on aesthetic preferences. The design is not clearly depicted in the pictures or description. In between the raised bubble design in the border of the frame is a series of delicate bows; and this is where the difference between the male and female perspective affected the rating. The bows are subtle and probably not even noticed by most; such as visiting boys. This feature left my husband feeling a little deceived. However, he was not unhappy enough to return the cabinet and select a different option.

There are black streaks all along the wide silver band in the middle and the detailed parts are painted black in the background. So tacky. Haven't decided if I will return it or try to paint it.

the medicine cabinet look nice, but the construction quality is bad at this price. the *PLASTIC* HINGE broken after a little bit over one year (which warranty just expired), and the size does not match those sold at Home depot/Lowe, I have to order online and cost me about ~ $12 (include shipping). what a disappointment.
