The item shows make up stored in the tray, but it also works pretty good for nail care implements. This tray is shallower than some of the other InterDesign Rain trays. In my opinion this is a disadvantage. Also, sections targeted for eyeliner pencils, etc. make the tray a little more limited in usefulness. I tried thinking about its use as a kitchen drawer or bar drawer organizer but it didn't seem like a good fit. It's sturdy, crisp and clean looking, however.

I just remodeled my bathroom and have a very shallow drawer. Most drawer dividers are too high this tray fits perfectly.
