What I particularly do like about this dispenser is that the square base makes it particularly stable and the stainless steel parts do not rust or tarnish over time. I'm a bit ambivalent about a recommendation. I'm hoping that over time the new ones will break in and the mechanism will not be quite so sticky.
Buy Interdesign Forma 2 Soap Pump Now
I purchased this soap pump on October 8, 2010 because it was described as being made from stainless steel (which should not rust.) Unfortunately, the base has rusted. I would not recommend this item.Looks great, my favorite dispenser, rubber feet, stable, all perfect except that soap seeps out the bottom somehow where the acrylic and metal are joined together. We are going to try to fix it with silicone but may still have to discard it. I'm disappointed.I saw the bad reviews on this product, but I ordered it anyway because it was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to love it because the design really is great love the sleek square shape, the clear soap area, and the 'stainless steel' pump and base look. Looks are about all this product has going for it though. The quality is terrible, especially for the price. I ordered two of these to stand side by side in my kitchen. By the second filling, both almost seemed to be leaking. There always seems to be a thin ring of dried soap around the bottom edge (between the clear part and the steel base). The ring goes all the way around the dispenser. Also, there always seems to be moisture between the clear part and the steel base. The moisture there is causing dark spots on the base that you can see through the clear area and through the soap. It looks like rust spots. The quality is terrible and I can't believe I spent $15 each on something of this quality. Definately do not recommend.
