These towel bars are well made and sturdy. What makes Gatco products superior is the guage of material used in construction. These bars are not the typical thin metal material that is usually part of the cheaper brand towel bars or towel rings. Installation is simple. The product actually uses the box it comes in for a "full" sized template so there is no guessing on where to drill your anchors. I have several rental homes and I use these products in all of them. They have stood the test of time and wear over several years.

For too long I had been suffering from towel bars that fell apart when bumped or when towels were hung. I was looking for wall mounted towel racks that were continuous end to end instead of the bar being compression fit between two end caps. These fit the bill perfectly. The bar is bolted to the two mounting brackets. The brackets fit over wall plates. When mounted to the wall they are firm with no play and no possibility that the bar portion will detach from the bracket. The box comes with a cutout on the back to use for positioning the screws to hold the mounting plates. It also comes with all mounting hardware, including wall anchors. The finish of the bars is clean and attractive. They look great, and even better, hold my towels without coming off the wall.
