I have three of these and they all work perfectly. I found that before the first use (when they have never been used before) you must prime them. I wish the instructions had stated this. Here is how you do the priming;

1 Make sure the soap is in the dispenser bottle.

2 Depress the plunger.

3 While holding the plunger down with one hand, put your finger over the end of the nozzle.

4 Let the plunger come up while keeping your finger over the nozzle.

5 Release the plunger.

6 Release your finger from the end of the nozzle.

Repeat steps 2-6 about 20 times, or until you feel the soap coming up the plunger.

Now they will work perfectly every time. It dispenses just the right amount of soap.

These are very well made, they are real metal and not plastic coated cheap stuff. Should last a long time.

Couldn't find just the bottom plastic piece. You have to buy the whole thing set together. Nice look in kitchen.

Was reasonably easy to install.

Had seen comments about difficulty priming the pump so primed with water then soap before installing.

After installation had no problems. Works just fine.

OK, I bought this because it wasn't as expensive as some of the other soap dispensers in the oil-rubbed bronze finish. But, it hasn't worked since the day I got it. I took it apart in case it was clogged, tried different soaps etc. but now I have an ugly bottle of soap on my counter and a hole cut into my granite for nothing.
