I like it because it fits in our small sink space (barely) but the toothpaste section is small. I have to squish the bottom of the tube to fit and taking the tube out pulls the top of the holder off. It's a bit annoying but at least we have a toothbrush holder now. It would work best with smaller tubes of toothpaste but we always get 7.8 oz. economy size.

The lid is separate from the holder, for obvious cleaning reasons, however, it does not stay in place as it should, it's always getting knocked down into the holder. Kind of annoying!

As others have mentioned, the lid is separate which is great for cleaning but it does get knocked off very easily. We use it for our kids toothpaste and brushes so the toothpaste fits fine but a regular size tube would be a tight squeeze. Next time, I'd probably pay a bit more and get one that was a little better designed.

This is a disappointment for me, doesn't hold any toothpaste tubes that I purchase. The top is in another drawer, can't put tubes in at all. Just wanted item to store toothpase in plus two brushes. Very pretty to look at and cleans up nice, but what the heck, wanted to store brushes and paste all in one piece, not disassemble and willy-nilly my items...sorry, but not what I really wanted, but keeping on vanity anyway...Thanks Amazon.

Clearly the top is useless, so just toss it and use the nice oval container for two toothbrushes and your toothpaste. Works fine that way. Top is unnecessary, and it is designed so it looks fine without it! Would also make a good vase, in edition to the pen-holder mentioned previously. The toilet brush from this set is also very well designed, and we really like the cups, which we have been using for at least a couple of years now. Still look perfect.
