Grohe 28 179 000 Relexa Top 4 Hand Shower, StarLight Chrome

My hubby likes this shower head, however with all the settings, it doesn't have a massage setting where the water would spray out of the head really fast.

I was looking for what doesn't seem to exist anymore. A handleld showerhead that wasn't all plastic. I figured at this price and being a Grohe, this would be a well built handled unit. I was wrong. This thing is made of plastic like most every other showerhead on the market these days. Save your money.

So... this shower head replaced an identical one I'd had for 10 years. Nothing wrong with the old one, it just got too much water staining over time.

The product advertised 'an all-embracing wide spray; invigorating needle jets;' let's just say that's not what happened. The 'needle jets' appear to have been replaced with a 'thimble jet' replacement.... My issue with this product, and it's not really stated anywhere is that it is a low-flow shower head, which produces minimal output (9.5L/min). Once I replaced a connector (which was designed to block most the water, to slow the flow) with the identical part in my original shower head, all was fine!

i had one of these and it broke...my kids dropped it. it had incredible pressure coming out of the previous one and when i attached the new one it cut down the pressure somehow to where it's not even worth using. not sure if they put some kind of damper in it but would like to know how to take that out...if possible.
