Design House 539213 Millbridge Towel Bar, Oil Rubbed Bronze, 24-Inch

Ordered this product and the toilet paper holder from the same seller, manufacturer and supposedly the same finish. Finish is actually quite different between the two products. The towel bar has more of a standard bronze finish while the toilet paper holder has more of the true oil-rubbed bronze finish I was expecting.

Bought this for the price and to go with the rest of our bathroom fixtures. Was easy to install, almost could have use the old holes from the previous bar but the metal holders go the opposite direction as the old one I had. Had the bar unpack-aged and mounted in about 20 minutes. The anchors they provide are kind of weak so if you are looking for it to hold more than a towel I would recommend some stronger anchors. I would also use a measuring tape or ruler to mark your holes, the template it comes with is folded so it's hard to get a good layout; maybe using tape would help. Great product for a great price.

I ordered this for the laundry room so that my wife could hang and dry items of hers that were not to be dried in the clothes dryer. It does serve a purpose for that.

Pros: Good fit and finish on the three parts, out of the box.

Cons: Light weight, thin gauge aluminum bar with a brass colored coating, which most likely will wear off after a few uses.

This will do for hanging either one wet wash rag, or one dry hand towel, or up to four pairs of ladies damp nylon stockings. But it is so light weight and has such a lack of metal in it that I wouldn't venture to hang anything heavier on it that weighs more than 2-3 lbs. The end brackets might hold, but the bar most likely would end up on the floor, along with wet hanging towels.

This Chinese made "towel" bar might just be available at your friendly local Dollar Store, or WalMart for between $2.99 to $4.99, or maybe half of that, if it is on a close-out sale.

I installed where another chrome towel bar had been. It is not attached to the wall as well as I would like and also feels unstable. We will see how long it holds up. Finish is nice though

I love it, but my husband did not like installing. It is just the right distance to not fit between any 2 by 4's .
