Taymor Chrome Indulgence Bathtub Caddy

I think this is a good product, but you do need to watch what you are getting as the product descriptions are not clear. The "Chrome" item at the higher price includes the reading rack, while the "silver" does not. Both include the candle and wine glass holder. I wanted the reading rack, and didn't recognize this difference because of the way the product description was set up and purchased the lower priced item. However, Amazon has agreed to accept this return for a refund, and I'm reordering the correct item with all of the accessories.

Since the products are alike, except for the reading rack which I will edit to talk about later, I wanted to get this out there to help others avoid my mistake and also comment on the rack itself. This fits my large tub very well and holds my wine glass very nicely. The extension arms do slide all the way out a little too easily in my opinion so it's something you have to watch, particularly if you have a wide tub. However, it looks nice, feels fairly sturdy and is enjoyable.

I do understand some of the comments about the caddy sitting low in the tub, but I found a solution that works well at least for my tub (a long oval shaped jet tub). I took the extension arms and essentially put them in upside down so that instead of dipping down, the arms lift the rack up. Everything sits up higher and I have plenty of room for my legs, and the wine glass and contents of the rack aren't sitting in the water. I am taller, so this still makes it comfortable for me, but it's possible that if you are shorter it may feel too high, but I wouldn't think it would be bad. The non-slip coating on the ends of the extension arms still hold everything well, and I don't need the curve of the arms to add support at all. Something to consider trying.

I can't wait to get the version of this with the reading rack, and I need to go purchase a couple of taper candles to fit in the candle holder. Should be absolutely perfect for my long soaks in the tub that I enjoy!

It's nice that is has a wine glass and candle holder except that the wine glass holder isn't always steady and the kind of candle that goes in it drips all over including into the water when it's easier to just use some votive candles or jar candles around the sink or bathtub edge. It's still nice though, just not all that practical. Works better as just a regular caddy.

I ordered this because I thought it had a book stand included. The picture that was included on the page that was posted for this item showed a caddy with a book stand, and the description did not say that it did not have one. So, foolishly I believed it had one. The book stand was the only reason I wanted this caddy. I couldn't care less about a wine glass holder and candlestick holder. Also, the metal on this item has already started rusting a little. I learned my lesson with this purchase.

When I bought this the picture showed it had a candle holder, wine glass holder, and book rest. It does not have a book rest, and it appears that the picture is now accurate. It is very narrow, not sure what you would put in there. Haven't used the candle holder because who wants a tapered candle dripping hot wax into their bathtub? Haven't used the wine glass holder because I'm worried that the weight of the glass with wine would tip the thing over. Basically, I just use it to prop up my Nook.
