Keep in mind when purchasing this waste basket that like so many other things these days, this waste basket is really small. In fact, I probably would not have bought it if I had realized just how little it is...I would guess it is less than half the size of our old bathroom waste basket.It is pretty and matches my other purchases beautifully.
Please note By looking at the picture I guessed it was lidded but it is open across the top, and made of a heavy ceramic, not metal or plastic.
