New York City Subway Map Shower Curtain

this item looks good, and fits my shower, the only thing i disliked about it was it is fairly lightweight and has no weights on the bottom so it flys around a bit, i put some small weights on the bottom to hold it down and it works ok but they need to be heavier. the plastic isnt the highest quality, fairly thin and flimsy but it works as it is needed and it looks cool. for the price i payed i was expecting better.

The shower curtain isn't the sturdiest, but it's still holding up quite well under daily use in a 12-year-old's bathroom. It's nice that the curtain lets light into what otherwise would be a dark tub/shower, and he likes looking at the map and remembering all the subway stops we used when visiting NYC.

As a transplanted native New Yorker, I adore this product. Sometimes when I feel "homesick" I just go into the bathroom and follow some of the subway lines, remembering my experiences on them or wondering about ones I never took. The product is sturdy, clear and well worth the money.

The other reviewers are correct this curtain smells VERY strongly when first opened from package. Be prepared to ventilate the bathroom where it is hung, or leave it in the garage or outside for a few hours first. I hung it immediately in the bathroom and then left the vent fan on for over an hour to help with the smell.

That initial inconvenience was very easy to get over, though. This curtain is exactly what I was looking for. The bathroom has such great character now. I put a white liner behind it so that the transparent portions don't actually allow the person in the shower to see into the bathroom and vice versa. I used royal blue towels and masculine-colored tissue box and bath mat. It looks great, and we've received lots of compliments.
