We bought this shower curtain rod as part of our project to spruce up the kid's bathroom, which is an original 1923 bathroom with old but otherwise nice tiles and appliances. This new curved curtain rod gives extra space in the shower/bath, but doesn't overdo it such as to protrude into the bathroom too much.
