This is by far the best amoung the comprable items I have seen, tried, or replaced due to failier. It has an "O" ring rather than a flat seal. The flat seal on similar products Ive tried fails under use or exposure to Draino. It, and all of its compitition takes a special dedicated tool for instalation. This product succesfully replaces the "in pipe" tub drain stoppers, is far less subject to failier and is easily replaced or resealed if needs be.
