It should be stated in the product description that the shelves are made of PLASTIC not aluminum. The pole is the only thing aluminum. I wish I would have know, I would have purchased a different pole caddy. Also, it must be made to reach floor to ceiling, so if you are going for a bathtub ledge to ceiling height, this won't fit. My husband had to cut ours down to size for us. Other than those facts, it looks nice (a little cheap) and serves its purpose.

This item is easy to set up and most important is it does not rust. It's very light weight because it's made of aluminum and plastic. If it's made of stainless, it would be better, but costs more.
