Upon drilling the holes and installing this paper holder I discovered to my horror that a standard paper roll will not fit in it. That's because the standouts are not long enough so a fresh, full paper roll presses against the flared feet on the standouts. That means you have to force the roll around with two hands to get paper off it until about a quarter of the roll is finally used up. In short, keep looking because this ain't what you want. Who would have thunk that a paper holder would be made in this day and age that is not correctly sized for standard name-brand paper rolls?
This product exceeded my expectations. It was exactly what I was looking for and even better when I received. The price was very reasonable and my bathroom looks fabulous!
