Metal Tree Accented Bathroom Tissue and Magazine Rack

I was so excited when I saw this product because it looked so nice in the photo. When it arrived, it was a. Much smaller than depicted in photo, b. made of extremely cheap materials (one of the metal leaves bent and fell off almost immediately) and c. almost impossible to assemble.

The photo shows the rack as being a good 8 inches to a foot higher than an average toilet seat. When assembled, mine only reaches two inches higher.

The overall quality of this item is very poor. The metal leaves are flimsy and break off easily during assembly. The wooden platforms (bottom of rack and top of rack) are cheap wood and were scuffed upon delivery. The rack is so lightweight that every time I pull toilet paper off the roll, the whole thing comes toppling forward! I am very unhappy with the quality of this product.

Lastly, assembly was next to impossible. They suggest using an electric screwdriver to assemble the wooden platforms to the rack because you have to drill the TINY screws into the wood. There are no existing holes. There is no room to fit a screwdriver, electric or manual due to the design of the rack. I have the top platform balanced on top, but not screwed down. I am considering hot gluing it because I see no way to connect it with the screws.

I am so disappointed in this product-for the price, it should have been much higher quality and easier to assemble. With shipping, this product cost $40. After receiving it, I would not pay more than $15 for something like this. Do not buy.

I like the way the item looks with the tree theme of my bath. Assembly was not too hard, but I was a little disappointed with the design of the paper holder. The post should extend out of the hole, so you don't have to hold the whole thing in alignment while you screw on the decorative end.
