Absolute WORST product of any type that I have ever purchased. Less than a month after my purchase, mine now sits in the garbage, where it belongs. The spring in this thing is VERY weak, which makes it very unstable once it's loaded. By "unstable" I mean, it falls over 10 out 10 times that you so much as look at it funny. Seriously. Very very frustrating. Extremely overpriced. Piece of junk. DO NOT BUY!

Other comments regarding "flimsy" quality are likely an install issue. It takes a bit of work adjusting the height but once set it slides in nicely. Install tightly in the corner of a shower to keep it from wobbling and it will be fine. The set screws hold the shelves well and they will support 4 large bottles of product adequately. A more expensive unit would likely feel sturdier but this unit is plenty sturdy to perform its function.

I've only had this for about a month now so I can't speak to the rusting issues. The thing looks great and I'm very happy with that. The tension mechanism is garbage, though. You have to adjust the pole to the right length the twist the top at least 30 times to get the tension to lock into place, but during all that twisting you will probably ultimately move the length of the pole by mistake. The first time I did this I ended up a half inch away from the 72" I was aiming for, so it wouldn't squeeze down enough to fit it in the shower. No problem, I thought, I'll just readjust it per the directions. Nope. The spring never locked ever again. I ended up using a hack saw to cut off the extra length and secured it to the corner with copper U-fittings for pipes, and those ended up to complement the bronze pretty darn nicely, so I'm not too upset, but buyer beware if you don't have a wall to screw into as a backup. Overall, it looks good, the shelves are steady and spacious, but the tension is unreliable.

This shelving system is much nicer than the others that we have bought at big box retailers and way cheaper than the nice ones at specialty bath stores. Easy to assemble and seems to be very durable.

I must say that I followed the instructions and it went together flawlessly. Shelves are sturdy and the spring has the right amount of tension to hold everything in its proper place. As for other reviews, I never had any of the problems that others have experienced. The company may have looked at reviews on amazon and fixed the issues from previous reviews.
