It wasn't enough for me to return it, but I certainly would not have bought it in store.this is a great little waste bin! the size it perfect, the handle is convenient, and it looks great! i saw in one review that the text on the bucket was mis-printed, but mine didn't have that issue at all. i recommend.

I love, love, love this bucket. I have a modern home and vintage style. I removed the wood handle (too country-kitchy looking), via a saw and some muscle. This left just the metal handle which gives it more of a modern feel. THE BIG PROBLEM is that you can receive a pail where the lettering can look bad. I ordered two of these at the same time and one had perfect lettering and the other had 3 smeared letters. I like these so much that I'm willing to send it back via Amazon's replacement option with a note for someone in shipping to kindly send out one that isn't smeared.Read Best Reviews of InterDesign Pail Wastecan, White Here

Well it's a nice design for a trash can, but I have a couple complaints about it.1) the holes where the handle meet the can are too high up on the basket area to use a trash bag, so it doesn't make it a very good choice for a restroom trash can as I had planned for it.
2) When the handle hangs down in the front where the TRASH lettering is, instead of the back, it covers the words. This isn't really a big deal, but it annoyed me a little.
Other than that stuff, the only other thing I'd consider changing is putting some kind of waterproof lacquer or something on the inside.
---UPDATE---
Okay, so 10 months have passed and I still use this garbage can, but the white paint has started to come off along the top rim, exposing the steel underneath. It's not a big deal, and I suspect that this happened because I've needed to wash the can a few times. So as a note to others, use cold water and no chemical abrasives when cleaning the can. I suggest diluted white vinegar, and rinse and dry it afterward instead of leaving it wet.
