This toilet paper stand is heavy, nicely designed, and seems solidly chromed. (I say "seems" because reviews of other stands noted that the chrome was peeling after a few months.) The tube that holds the paper is metal, not plastic as in some similar devices. All in all, a fine product.

The toilet paper stand was not as pictured, what arrived looked just like the cheaper models. The part that holds the paper (what you see after the roll is installed) is horse shoe shaped not the parallel straight bars as pictured. Also, the base was much smaller with less ridges than the photo shows. I sent it back for a refund.
