Mr. Steam W248 PC Series 200 48-Inch High by 20-Inch Wide 120-Volt Electric Towel Warmer, Polished ChromeI bought this Towel warmer for a new bathroom we recently re-modeled. It's 39" length was ideal for the space we have but suggest you look at your own space requirements as they come in different sizes (also widths). I note this since some vendors WILL not accept returns if the box has been opened. Definiteley check the returns policy and the size you need BEFORE buying.

The towel warmer works fine so far and does what it is claimed to do warm towels and/or dries slightly damp towels after use. One disappointment I had was that you need a seperate timer (programmable or manual) to install since you can't hard wire the towel warmer as is shipped. These timers run anywhere from $30-120 and require special wiring. I did NOT want to spend more on this and had the electrician just put in a simple on/off switch. This was a perfect solution and I leave it on pretty much all the time when home. When not in use -I just shut it off.

One particular note on the installation was the bottom right piece where the wiring junction meets the wall. This round cylinder like piece was not sitting flushing with the wall and could not tighten the collar. I called Mr. Steam and came up an additional collar to attach since half of the towel warmer attaches to the dry wall, other half to marble wall (1/2" thicker)and makes it slightly un-parallel to the wall. Didn't get this piece yet and hopefully will work.Plus it had a hole in it (wiring junction collar) and the tech could not explain its purpose.

In summary, it is a nice, modern item to have in a new bath and is slightly expensive but the quality looks good. Would have given 5 stars but the lack of a timer was dissappointing.
