The oil rubbed bronze look is very nice and, to suit our tastes, doesn't have the lighter highlights found on other ORB products.

On the technical side, I didn't know about these temperature control mixing valve systems until we started planning our major bathroom renovation. The new plumbing code requires temperature limit control to avoid accidental burns from full-on hot water. The separately purchased rough-in valve is used in combination with this valve trim kit and the rough-in valve includes the cartridge and, if you want, stops. Stops allow the hot and/or cold water feeds to be turned off so that the cartridge can be replaced without shutting off the water further upstream or to the entire house.

I had the rough-in valve installed by the plumber who did our rough-in work. Then, I installed the trim kit and set the temperature limit per the accompanying instructions. No problems and really like the combined system. Great temperature control without fear of too hot.

This is very beautiful and works great for our tub. It was easy for my husband to install. The only thing is that it's not quite the color pictured. It's a little more brassy in hue than what the picture looks like.

We were hesitant to buy this because the pic quality was bad (made it look brassy) i even went to Moen's home page to check and it was the same pic. Hey MOEN! you have a great faucet but pls change the lighting.

Other than that, installation was EZ on our current shower head, and looks great!

Love the product but had to buy a mounting ring to cover the gap. Moen does not allow differences for a bathroom redo and just replacing a faucet in an older home. I told the plumber that we were replacing the double sheetrock with concrete board. He installed the new tub and did the plumbing. We did the concrete board and tile work ourselves. When it cam time to put the faucet on there was a large gap of 1/2 to 1 inch and totally not acceptable. We researched the websites and several people have complained. We bought the mounting ring and it is taking up the space so that it looks good.

We couldn't find in other reviews if this was plastic or metal, but we took a chance and purchased it anyway, because the price was so reasonable. I'm happy to say it is solid metalmaybe brass? Regardless, it looks and works beautifully!
