Kohler K-5673 Toobi Tissue Holder Vertical Mounting,

Pros:

It looks beautiful (especially for a toilet paper holder)

Requires less wall space than a traditional horizontal holder

Vertical orientation allows you to secure entirely to a wall stud (vs. horizontal holder where only one end can be)

Allows you to easily tear off paper without the roll spinning and unrolling completely onto the floor.

Possibly more cat/toddler resistant (in theory only -I haven't tested that)

Incredibly easy to change rolls (just slides on/off the shaft)

Cons:

On the pricey side

Makes the rest of your fixtures look cheap and outdated
