I am glad I only wanted these for hanging a light curtain from a bathroom window because the fronts are just glued to a heavy-duty wire hook. They do the trick, but they are a bit larger than I would have wanted, and for some reason they were dirty. I mean covered in dust, and the backs of the plastic part were still white with lots of lines and smudges from when the items were manufactured. And some of the hooks had glue stuck up on the wire where apparently someone had accidentally smeared it there and then not bothered to remove it. If I wanted this for a really nice bathroom that I was decorating to impress, I would have been very disappointed in these... They are ok if you are willing to put in a little extra work cleaning and polishing, but for $13 why should I have to do that?

Also because of that glued-on construction I would not recommend using these for a shower curtain.

These are very different from any shower rings I've ever had and are of high quality. Really pretty!

They'll do. They feel and appear to be painted wood, not ceramic. Pretty boring. I may paint something on them myself.

I wanted black shower curtain hooks and these fit the bill. They almost have a homemade look to them...They look hand painted. Nothing showy or spectacular here, just a pretty ordinary shower hook. For some people (inclusing myself) that's just fine. For others, you might want to look elsewhere.

I bought these as a gift for a relative to go with a new show curtain. Personally, I prefer thicker shower hooks so they do not tangle with the other hooks on the rod. They look nice, but feel cheap because of the thin metal hooks.
