Did not stick to my walls, and cleaned the surface first. I ended up screw-attaching it and then had to take it down anyway because the screws showed. This was just for my utility power room, so I probably am going to get another kind or just leave the hand towel folded out on the vanity.
I must have missed it in the product description but the towel rack actually like glues to the wall with that double double sided glue tape. Pretty cheap looking, not very sturdy. I ended up just donating it to goodwill and picking one up at Lowe's
