Creative Bath 4-Shelf Bamboo Tower

Not only was there no finish on this, it wasn't very well sanded, either. Granted, bamboo looks okay natural, but I expect better for something at this price (even the discount price). It went together easily, though, and despite being a bit wobbly seems like a fairly sturdy, functional piece of bathroom furniture.

I bought this item primarily for its rich color (which matches my bathroom cabinetry) and its smart and simple styling. When I undid the package (poorly packed for shipping I might add, but no damage done), I was disappointed to find that the color was not the rich deep wood pictured on the website or the box itself for that matter, but rather a more mousy blondish color (I wish I could upload here the photo I took to show the difference). In addition, one of the back shelf panels had completely come off and the rail thin nails were bent beyond repair. This required me to hunt down a few penny nails to reattach the panel. That worked and, as it doesn't show, it is acceptable.

I am keeping as it suffices my needs, and I may stain it later. Had the color been close to accurate, I might have given this a higher rating.
