Creative Bath Products Inc. S1043MULT Meow Shower Curtain, Multicolored

I was wanting to update my bathroom. I am a cat lover (lily and Emma)and really liked the color and pattern of the curtain. I also bought the cat shower hooks that completed the "Meow" look. The shower curtain looks even better than the picture. There are a lot of colors you can use from the curtain for towels. It also is a cloth curtain instead of plastic which really adds to its look. My cat themed bathroom started with this curtain.

This is a high quality fabric shower curtain. The colors suit our preferences, which run to yellows and orange, with enough variation to add interest. The cats are cute. We do use this with a clear liner to keep it from getting wet and possibly moldy. Only downside is that it lets no light into the shower stall, and we don't have a window or light in there. I solve this by pushing the curtain to the middle from both ends (we use 2 rods for the 2 curtains, so this works for us; would not work if you use the dual hooks) when we take a shower, then respreading the curtain after. This is actually a backup to the one we already have, we like it that much! Actually have the entire bath set in this design.

...because it is folded in the package, it needs to laundered. i washed it in cold but think i may have to IRON it-GAD! Currently hanging up albeit damp, but it is very fresh and cheery. i AM a cat person and my "bath" is decorated in all things "cats". Colors go well with deep forest green carpet and all my crazy kitty stuff. If it hadn't wrinkled, i'd give it 5 stars.

When I received this curtain I realized that the pattern was printed upside-down on the curtain. As in, the holes for the hooks were at the bottom and the cats were upside-down. I don't know if the factory has absolutely no quality control as this is not okay. I can't believe they thought I would accept this.

I love the looks and it's functionality, but the pre-attached pieces are not well well put together, just extremely thin edges pre glued. My husband had to go out and find a special metal bondo to get them back together again. The lower rod, held together after assembly by simple pressure doesn't stay connected, since the part that attaches to the wall comes loose easily and wants to fall apart. I've hesitated to purchase a second rod.

Much nicer than expected, it's heavy and well made. I bought it to replace a Moen double towel bar that was much lower quality.

InterDesign York Lyra Jumbo Shower Caddy, Chrome

We were so happy to find a shower caddy of this size and appearance. It holds a lot! And it looks attractive too. One big problem: After a little over one month's use it has begun to rust. I realize it was not advertised as "rust proof," but I did expect it to last a year or so before the rust started. No such luck. My recommendation is to buy stainless steel or some other non rusting material. This chrome finish doesn't stand up to exposure to water.

First, the good:

* Size. We struggled to find an extra-wide caddy that was also short enough not to knock into the shower valve (barely 22" between the valve and shower head). This thing easily fits two jumbo shampoo bottles + three additional standard 12ish-ounce bottles on one shelf.

* Surprisingly sturdy. The suction cups on the bottom are both fixed in place/not adjustable. It just so happens that in my shower, both cups are perfectly bisected by tile grout, which means they don't suction to the wall at all. Honestly? It doesn't seem to matter. The vinyl non-slip coating on the part that goes over the shower head has kept it securely in place for the past four months, suction cups be damned.

* Attractive, at least at first.

Unfortunately, as another reviewer has mentioned, this thing has significant rust problems. No, it's not advertised as rust-proof, but it IS supposed to be "rust-resistant." In my case, rust spots began appearing three DAYS after installation. Four months later, I wouldn't even consider putting anything on the bottom shelf, because the chrome finish has been almost completely replaced by rust. Considering the caddy gets hit with a fairly small amount of splashback during showers, and the humidity in the bathroom is kept pretty low thanks to a decent exhaust fan, the speed and extent to which rust has been destroying it is shocking.

In short, not a long term storage solution and for its lifespan, it's on the expensive side.

Kohler 1601-7 Whirlpool Footstop Toothbrush Holder

I could never use my oversized tub comfortably. Unless I sat upright, I would slide under the water in the bath. I couldn't find anything to "shorten" the tub so I could enjoy a relaxing soak. I tried putting my feet up against a basketball, a water jug, and other things I found around the house. Nothing worked. Finally, i tried Amazon and, as is usually the ase, the solution was right there. This footstop did exactly what it said it did and what other reviewers said it did. I am thrilled!!!

The footstop does its job well. Without it, I have a tendency to lose control of my drifting in the churning water. The footstop provides an anchor and can be used in more than one way. It's also sculptural. We bought two in biscuit for our new biscuit-colored Kohler tub, and I even enjoy arranging them around the tub's rim. A friend who asked to see our new tub loved the footstops saying that the whole setting of deck, tub, and footstops looked like a sculpture arrangement. Success.

Be warned: they are quite heavy out of the water but easily moved in it.

Solid Teak Grate Bath Shower Mat

I specifically purchased this product because of the advertised dimensions' Size: 23.25" wide x 1.25" tall x 15.75" deep. But this grate is barely 3/4" tall, if advertised as 1.25" tall it would have worked perfectly for my application.

I believe the manufacture realizes when they state 1.25" high this would mean to most all purchasers that the grate would be 1.25" thick , not 3/4" thick ( or less ), and if the answer from them is the rubber feet under make it 1.25" high that is also wrong as the rubber feet raise it only by 1/8".

Solidly build, just the right size, looks great. I really prefer it to my old bathroom mat, which would stay wet hours after I stepped onto it from the shower and which my cats loved to scoot on (ew). Try scooting on this, catbeasts!

Most importantly, the print doesn't extend all the way to the edges--there's an uneven strip at the edges of the curtain (2-4 inches) where the circles print just stops. First, let me say that I didn't pay the $300 plus dollars listed today for this item! I paid around $90 for the Oil Rubbed Bronze version and gulped a bit when I did it. But, after seeing some others in the homes of friends, I feel this one looks much better than less expensive ones. (Not $300 better, but better!)

In oil-rubbed bronze this is very classy appearing. It's heavy, solid looking and gives a vintage look without looking cutesy. I'm using it in a guest bath, with deep green bath towels with hand towels on top, as a way to free up space. It looks really good and I'm glad I got it.

Toothbrushes these days have very thick handles that don't fit into older wall holders, and into many sink-side containers. This acrylic holder solves all those problems--the holes are plenty big enough for thick toothbrush handles, the back hole is big enough for a large toothpaste tube, and the top is removable to make cleaning easy.

This is an attractive, sturdy, hard plastic holder. I ordered it and its companion tumbler and soap pump to use while remodeling my new home so I would have something that would not break if it gets knocked around and which would look nice. It turned out to be a nice enough set that I will continue to use them in one of my bathrooms after the remodel.
