InterDesign York Lyra Jumbo Shower Caddy, Bronze

I have no idea why I've been putting off replacing my peeling, rusting, old college shower caddy for so many years. Because I'm cheap? Lazy? Well, who knows, but I got the itch to replace it and this is the one I picked out. My bathroom hardware is Venetian bronze despite the fixtures in the tub being chrome, so I elected to get this finish to match. The caddy is beautiful, roomy, and secure. My biggest requirement was that it needed to hold my 1 liter pump bottles of shampoo and conditioner, and it does with room to spare. I currently have 2 liter bottles, 2 large soap bottles, 2 face wash pumps, and a bottle of baby soap in the top. On the bottom shelf we keep 2 electric razors, and hang our regular razors and loofas from the bottom hooks. It is super secure and doesn't budge at all. I really couldn't be more pleased!

Excellent size/design for my needs. The shorter length prevents me from hitting it while moving around, and the wider width gives much room for many items. I especially like the many hooks at the bottom use for anything: razors, toothbrushes, washclothes/brushes.

The suction cups actually work and stay connected..... a nice surprise as I've found many shower caddies' often fail and fall off repeatedly.

The plastic lining at the top hook (where it hangs on the shower head pipe) protects the pipe from getting scratched and helps give extra grip to keep it in place (no sliding down, to have items falling out, etc).

Besides all that the color is perfect for my decor. Hope all the detail helps. Great piece handy for many items and protects shower while staying in place.

In addition to the two small suction cups on bottom it has an amazing adaption right under the top part that hooks onto your shower pipe. There are two little metal fingers that come out on either side with a rubbery plastic piece that is able to mold around the pipe, anchoring the shower caddy. Because as you know the usual limit of these things is that the shower pipe curves downward and so they don't grip-(stay up) properly. Well this fixes it. And i'm sure even if the plastic piece wears out or if you need more help from the beginning this adaptation will be an aid to that. Right now mine works fine, no DIY needed. I have a picture exampling this feature.

I love the elegant curves of this caddy. I love the four razor hooks! So theres a total of 6 hooks on this! I love how the hooks curve out from the wall, its cleanlier. A very important feature. I mean cleanliness is almost the whole reason i want a caddy, and besides storage is the only reason. I love the way the metal is flat and not rounded . It just feels sturdy. Looks more sophisticated. And would seem to go along with the wall hugging properties it needs to contain. So its ergonomic to hugging against the shower wall! Gotta love that

It is somehow jumbo sized but perfectly weighted. I think its because rather than trying to reach lengthwise its resting widthwise under the shower pipe. Which i like because i'm reaching Around the water, not into it.

It held ALL of my current products. i plan on expanding my products and getting more caddy's. (umbra baskets and command 3m basket and soap holders) But right now All of mine and my husbands products went onto this thing. A good surprise.

The bronze lloks amazing in my bathroom. Although the shower fixtures are chrome and our apartment fixtures are brushed nickle. We do have brown floors, a big chocolate rug in the bathroom, and a tiny bit of a neutral or taupe tone in the black and white speckled counter top. If i'ld went with a silver finish i would have blended in with the dove grey accent tiles on top of the shower. So i love the bronze the way it pops and the way it ties in the earth tones in my bathroom.

This is highly durable. And unlike the other finishes which make me nervous i do not expect this to rust.

This shower caddy is great! So much better than the corner pole styles we have had over the years. It's big enough to hold lots in a minimal space. It's sturdy & secures great both at the top & with suction cups toward the bottom. We love it!
