Design House 539239 Millbridge Towel Ring, Oil Rubbed Bronze

This is sturdy & attractive, but almost black in color. At first glance, it looks like cast iron. The pictures on Amazon look more like antique brass, which is what I wanted. Good price & well made, but only buy if you want close to black.

I recently purchased a Design House oil rubbed, bronze towel ring for our bathroom renovation. We are very pleased with the ring which is constructed very well. The color is a perfect match to our new cabinet hardware and light fixture, too. I would definitely recommend this product to others.

This does exactly what it should do. It is darker than a typical rubbed bronze finish but works just fine all the same. For install you do need a tiny eyeglass sized flat head screw driver to mount it so make sure you have one handy.

We needed a towel ring that was easy to install. When I say easy, I mean, nothing more than an electric screwdriver, and a hammer and nail for a starter hole required. I was surprised to find that a local discount store wanted more than $25 for rings of similar style and size. We needed something that was large enough to hold a single towel on display, that was not going to be removed, and that was brass in color.

If we were using this towel ring for a towel that we were using on a daily basis, I would likely give it only four stars, as it doesn't have a lot of room to slide the towel in the ring. But for a display towel ring, it definitely gets five stars.
